I get as far as trying to login then it hangs and dies. Doesn't even get that far if you are not using IE. Click to expand... Check underneath Rich. I got in with IE9, but three windows opened. A sign-in screen that would NOT let me enter my credentials to sign in popped open on my primary monitor, but on my secondary monitor, a Welcome to FixIt Pro window opened and when I dismissed that, I realized under the welcome window was indeed, the FixitCenter Pro (beta) page, opened with me signed in. Interestingly, when I went snooping around through Guided Search and selected Windows Internet Explorer, it only provided help for IE7, and IE8 on Windows Server. No IE9. Under Windows, no W8. So I think they have some updating to do.

I get a https://login.live.com/ppsecure/pos...Return%3dTrue&lc=1033&id=278480&bk=1350675423 link with Continue as the tab name and that's it, just hangs there till it eventually times out with a Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage message. I'll look at the KB articles for now, Thanks all.

I prefer to keep them and remove only the ones I specifically want to. Click to expand... I am of the same mindset and that is why I like CCleaner. It lets me tag the cookies I want to keep (such as the forums I visit) so I don't have to sign in to all my regular sites after flushing my other cookies. I notice on some sites when clicking the link in notification emails to visit the most recent reply, I am often taken back to the most recent before my last reply, not the most recent in the thread. This happens on WTT all the time for me, so I have to flush WTT cookies, then it works again - for awhile. I wonder if you need to have a subscription to TechNet or something to get access. Have you tried logging in from a different computer? Does this mean my hardware adventure troubles are over? :) Click to expand... As a hardware guy, I can unequivocally tell you, "it's a software problem!"

Ztruker Active member Joined Oct 14, 2012 Posts 40 Location Space coast of Florida Oct 20, 2012 #18 I have UAC off. I tried it from the hidden Administrator account (which is not hidden on my system) and have also tried it from Safe Mode with Networking. All do not work. I do not have a TechNet subscription, is that required? I never got far enough to receive any kind of error message.

Otherwise, there would not be a public post about it. Just got the following: Connection problem There was a problem connecting to the Fix it Center Pro service. Please try again later.
