Please download the System Update Readiness Tool from Microsoft ->here<-. Save the tool to a convenient location as it may be necessary to run it again. After the download has completed, double-click the file and wait while it initializes. Click Yes to begin installation, which may take up to an hour. You may use the computer whilst it installs in the background. Then, when complete, please follow these instructions to upload a complete CBS folder: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/4736-windows-update-forum-posting-instructions.html Thank you! Richard P.S. You may have noticed that something went wrong with the last image that you uploaded. Don't worry, it really wasn't your fault, in actual fact it's a problem with the website that I've been trying to isolate and fix for ages. Could you please help me do so by describing exactly what you did and how you did it to upload that image? Did you use the attachment manager at all? Did you copy and paste anything? What exactly did you click? Can you repeat it? Thank you :)

Hello again! I will need to work on your corruption tomorrow. It is complicated and it is late here now, best for me to look at it fresh tomorrow. Where exactly did you copy and paste from? So you were within Windows Vista's standard Snipping Tool, took a screenshot, then went Edit --> copy (or Ctrl-C???) then right click paste (Ctrl-V???) straight into the editor window? I would really love to be able to reproduce this. Or did you go through Microsoft Paint? Or something else? Was it straight into the editor window, or through the attachment manager, or what? Final question: which web browser and version are you using? Thank you. Richard

I am using Firefox the latest version. It was just a screenshot of Windows Update and when it gave me the error code. Is my issue easily fixable?
