I have been trying to update Windows for months now and always get the above error code. I have run all kinds of scans and what not and it gives me error codes rather than success or failure messages. I have gone through all the steps and attached whatever was referenced by your instructions or the error messages I received. I hope someone can figure out how to fix what is wrong. Thank you in advance for your time!

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

The RAM was last replaced almost two years ago and we started having this problem for about three months. I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic and it didn't find any issues.

Hi!

Step#1 - Capture Process Monitor Trace
1. Download and run Process Monitor. Leave this running while you perform the next steps.
2. Try installing the update just like you have in the past.
3. Stop Process Monitor as soon as it fails. You can simply do this by clicking the magnifying glass on the toolbar.
4. Select the File menu...Save... and save the file to your desktop. This is likely the default location. The name (unless changed) will be LogFile.PML. This is fine.
5. Zip up and attach the LogFile.PML file as well as your CBS.log

The LogFile was to large. I attached a link to the onedrive. I stopped it after 5 minutes as it was repeating the same thing over and over and Windows Update wouldn't even finish initializing. Another thing that happened is I am pretty sure our graphic card is dying. Not sure if they could be linked in anyway but we are having issues with our displays.

Thanks,
Chris
