Hi,

I couldn't post the perfmon because it says the file size exceeds the limit.
The .dmps that have been giving me bsods lately are the ones that occured on 10/29/2013 -11/2/2013.
I've already done memtest and I think the bsods are caused by a driver- but i don't know which one.

My OS is originally windows 7 , x64 bit. It is about 4 years old. I haven't reinstalled the OS.
Processor: Intel Core i7 cpu Q720 @ 1.60 GHZ
I don't know what motherboard I have.
Manufacturer: Hewlett PAckard
Model: HP Pavillion dv6 Notebook PC

For starters:
At work we start all repairs with a set of diagnostics. Often they find problems that weren't even expected. It's a waste of time to try to fix software on a system that has hardware problems.
Please try these free diagnostics for starters: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Also, please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

C: drive only has about 2% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

Microsoft Virtual WiFi Adapter is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?

Lot's of Live Kernel Events without corresponding BSOD's - could be a hardware problem. Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

I have removed the majority of the storage controller drivers from the update list as they'll just have you pulling your hair out while we're trying to nail the problem down. These drivers are added by HP (and others) to all installations "just in case" they're needed - and usually aren't even used. Please ignore them for now and we'll see if we need to mess with them later on.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics. Let us know the results and we can move on from there.
