While this is a DPC Watchdog bugcheck with a first parameter of 1, it is still possible that it's being caused by the driver on the stack (Alpham164.sys, from 2007 - even predates Windows 7!!!). I'd look for a newer driver for that device from SteelSeries - Downloads.

Code:

From the driver / device list, it's probably a Reaper's Edge mouse:
Code:
Nom du module: Alpham1
Nom complet: Ideazon Merc USB Human Interface Device
Type de pilote: Kernel

There's a download available from 2008, but it's still Vista only - not sure if that'll help this scenario at all, but it would still be best to get the latest drivers (for all your devices) at this point.

i do the ram test, and after 3 hours of testing, i got no error,

but one thing is wird, i pass all the day programing and compiling = no crash, i play 2 hour of FarCry3 = no crahs, 15 minute of APB, crash with hard reboot needed,

there is a way to force a crash file to be dump? cuz 1 got one time this error (watchdog) but all the other crash result in a freeze of the screen, keyboard, mouse and sound, i need to hard-reboot the pc to get it working again,

but one thing i want to know about the ramtest, when i do the test in the option line i see 800mhz(DDR3 1660) is that normal? cuz my ram is a DDR3,1866 cl10-11-10-30 1.5v from G,Skills

Let's check your RAM timings and compatibility.

Download and install CPU-Z and Upload screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs. In the SPD tab, upload an image of each slot. To upload all screenshots, it would be best to:
  1. generate the images using the Snipping Tool,
  2. go to where the images are saved,
  3. right click in a blank area within the folder where the images are saved,
  4. create a new folder,
  5. name the folder CPUZ,
  6. select all the images,
  7. place the pointer over an image,
  8. press and hold down the left mouse button and drag the image (all images should move with it),
  9. drop the images into the CPUZ directory you created,
  10. create a compressed (zipped) folder of CPUZ
  11. upload the .zip file to the forums.

the game may have a bug inside, does the crash happens in a specific area of the game or while doing a specific type of gaming?

my first suggestion was about your crash after sleep, as in sleep your information would be stored in your Ram. Machine state is held in RAM memory and, when placed in sleep mode, the computer cuts power to unneeded subsystems and places the RAM into a minimum power state, just sufficient to retain its data.

but about the game, i highly suspicious about your game and the installation. check the game in another computer, see if the problem still exists.
can you run task manager while you are in crash? press ctrl+alt+del or ctrl+shft+esc to see the window, then find the program in "processes" tab, right click and choose end process tree. if you could do this, there is no need to hard-reboot your system!

no i cant reach the processes tab, like i said the keyboard/mice, freeze, if i press on num lock or any other toogle option (caps lock, numlock, screenlock) nothing appen, (i mean the light on the keyboard dont turn on or off)

and in order when my computer crash this appen,

1. the game(screen) freeze(sounds and skype still work)
2. the sounds bug(like when your old N64 bug, like.... idk how to explain the noise, its like taking a song, and stoping on a set of 3 note repeated in loops very fast)
3. Hard Reboot
4.get pissed and go do something else, or retry and hope

does the crash happens in specific level of the game or while doing something similar when getting the crash?
i dont think its a hardware error with the game.

So we'll run a couple of tools to get a deeper look at your system.

  1. Please download DDS.scr by sUBs and save it to your desktop.Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

When done, DDS will save 2 logs to your desktop
    DDS.txt
    Attach.txt
    • Disable any script blocker and then double-click dds.scr to run.
    • Shortly after two logs will appear, DDS.txt & Attach.txt
    • The logs will automatically be saved to your desktop.
    • attach your logs here in the next post

Also get the latest graphic driver and install the latest DirectX from here:Microsoft DirectX

Hi BelleGueule,

There is no need to run DDS as instructed in mmkarimi's post, this will not provide us with any extra information. It's also highly unlikely the game itself is to blame, only certain types of applications can cause BSODs and PC games are not generally among them. BSODs are usually caused by driver issues or hardware problems.

Hello BelleGueule,

Can you also please make sure to update Alpham164.sys as given below. I wasn't sure whether you have already tried this, but I just wanted to confirm that it had been done. Thank you :)

hi, yes i confirm that all information are attached in the first post,

no need for the DDS, and your Directx version is 11 which is fine

Just Update your drivers

about your running tasks:

Steam.exe , jucheck.exe , where.exe , conhost.exe

these are not normal (in win7), if you have these tasks still running in your system check your system with your antivirus.
as you have win8, someone else should also comment:smile9:

where.exe is used by the collection app and is normal.

conhost.exe is often run by various applications, and probably was being used by the collection app for the scripts.

jucheck.exe is the Java update utility. It is normal on many systems, but Java should be removed and then installed again manually to update. The Java software is known for security leaks, so I would strongly recommending removing it and re-installing it.

Steam.exe is a gaming platform and is normal on many systems.

Memtest86+:

CPU-Z shows your RAM running at 1372.4 MHz, which is normal for the FX-series processor and AMD processors in general starting with the AM3 chipset up to the FX chipset. To run at 1866 MHz speeds is not recommended unless you are very familiar with overclocking and hardware tweaks.

That said, I am not sure why Memtest86+ would show it as DDR3 1600 when it is DDR3 1866. Are you sure you ran Memtest86+ and not Memtest86? Memtest86+ is on version 4.20 and Memtest86 is on version 4.0a. You want 4.20, and the download links can be found here:

Crashes were caused by Alpham164.sys (see cluberti and niemiro's posts), NVIDIA drivers (try updating them from NVIDIA), and avast! software.

We have seen a number of problems caused by avast! software and Windows 8. I would recommend removing it and re-enabling Defender on the system.

To enable Defender, follow the subsequent steps.

  1. Click in the lower left corner of the desktop to open the Start Page.

  2. Type Action Center and click Settings to open Action Center.

  3. Click on Security to expand the Security area.

  4. Wait a minute to let the Security area refresh to show Security vulnerabilities.

  5. You should see a message to Turn on now for Windows Defender. Click the Turn on now button.

  6. Make sure Windows Firewall is also turned on.

  7. In Defender, click the Update tab, and then click the Update button.

some people tell me to update it (with a 2008 version (last update) and you sugjest me to remove it,

what should i do?

if NVIDIA make my pc crash when he try to update Alpham164.sys, if i remove it that will not cause a biger problem?

and ....

i got it you want me to remove avast not Alpham164.sys.. , do you think win defender is enought? personaly i dont use any "antivirus" software, but i took avast cuz its a nice one and i can leave my little sister get on my pc whitout any stress

and i know how to update my hardware but this file "Alpham164.sys" i never hear of it, did i just need to google Alpham164.sys update, or there is a safer way to do it?

i have the Zengine for my keyboard, but there is no way to get the Ideazon Merc Stealth USB Human Interface Device driver on the site, (exepte if the update is in the Zengine instalation)

Do you have version 2.5.0.30 of Zengine installed? The driver update may be included in the software installation.
