HI,

I downloaded SFCFix.exe.
I ran it
I have attached the SFCFix.txt file. i want to learn how to create my own SFCFix.zip file that i can drag and drop onto SFCFix.exe.

I made a folder called: "SFCFix" then inside i made one called: "winsxs" then inside i made one called: "wow64_microsoft-windows-a..cing-infrastructure_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_0bfcc31f07a61f6d"

I copied the file "apihex86.dll" from a working windows 7 x64 and put it inside the wow64... folder.
I compressed it using windows 7 built in compressor.
I dragged and dropped it onto SFCFix.exe and i got error see attached file. (ERROR: File Placement Mode failed to identify destinations for all files and folders.)

I also created file called SFCFix.txt in SFCFix folder and inside i put: PowerCopy::
{ARCHIVE} %SystemRoot% [DIR]
But i dont know what that does or if its needed.

Any help is appreciated.

There is no public SFCFix tutorial. If you keep attempting hit and miss fixes using this very powerful tool which has the capability of replacing boot critical files and the very internal parts of Windows, I can promise you only one thing and that is that you will very soon break your computer and stop it from booting. If you do that it'll be reinstall time because there's no way I'm going to spend ages untangling and reversing whatever harm you have caused.

Just follow the posting instructions and let us help you.
