Start again from the USB-stick in the recovery enironment. 2. Open the command prompt and run the bcdedit command and take a picture, and post it into your next reply.

And the solution was to use a exFAT formatted USB-stick instead of NTFS. HP Laptop - 14-dk1003dx getting 03F0 error trying to install Win10 from USB So I would suggest to create the USB-stick again: 1. Open Windows Explorer and right click the USB-stick and choose format and select the option FAT32. (if you choose exFAT, the Media Creation Tool will reformat the drive to FAT32). 2. Afterwards use the Media Creation Tool to create the new USB-stick and try the installation again.

After the installation you can resize the partion and crate a new data partition. Last edited: Mar 17, 2023

Yup back to step 7/8 never gets to step 17

I would suggest to start a new thread in the Windows 10 section, why you can't perform a clean install of Windows 10 on this laptop. This subforum for Windows Update issues is limited to react on, and in the Windows 10 section you will receive more suggestions from other (team)members as well.

By the way on last loop through, I clicked repair NOT Install and it came up with options (see attached) Attachments IMG_20230317_134213269.jpg 113.8 KB · Views: 1
