Hi,

My computer has gotten errors regarding CNBJ2530.DPB, and I was hoping someone would be able to help.
Currently my computer will work fine in safe mode, but will hang and restart before reaching the login screen if started normally.

I've followed the tutorial from this forum, but was unable to attach any files to this post. My CBS logs can be found here: dropcanvas - instant drag and drop sharing - canvas view
Here's my SFCfix:
SFCFix version 2.3.0.0 by niemiro.

DISM /restorehealth results in error 0x800f0906. I've tried mounting the Windows DVD and directing DISM to obtain files from it, but it still returns an error.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

Here's my CBS file:
View attachment cbs.txt

Unfortunately my computer still restarts before the login screen, but at least my SFC /scannow isn't throwing errors :banghead:

That looks better.

Unfortunately my computer still restarts before the login screen

That's an odd one.

How often does this loop? is it every time you turn on the computer? Does it only loop through this once?

What part does Windows get to before restarting?

Lets try and do a full shutdown of Windows 8

Right click on the
aa922834-ed43-40f1-8830-d5507badb56c_39.jpg
button
Click on Run -> Inside the run box type in shutdown /s /f /t 0 -> Press ok

That didn't seem to do anything.
It restarts right after the Windows logo, and before the login screen shows up. It doesn't BSOD when I disable automatic restarting, and will continue to reboot until I stop it. It does this every time I turn on the computer. Eventviewer is clean. I've tried diagnostic startups, but nothing seems to help. It does, however, work perfectly in Safe Mode (with or without networking).
I'm not sure if its related, but my DISM is still throwing errors.
I get Error: 0x800f0906 when attempting
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restore health
And error 14098 when trying
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

In addition,
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
Tells me that "the component store is repairable".

Hello :)

On examination of the issue you're having with SFCFix, the problem you are having likely isn't a bug or fault in the tool itself. In actual fact, it looks like it could be a corruption in your WMI repository or a similar such issue. This may not be such a bad thing - it tends to be fairly easy to diagnose and repair, and could also be the cause of some of your other problems.

Therefore, please download the diagnostic utility from here: Download The WMI Diagnosis Utility -- Version 2.1 from Official Microsoft Download Center

Open the .exe and choose to extract to C:\Temp\WMIDiag (press yes to create the folder).

Then press Windows Key + R to open the run dialog and type in cscript /h:cscript and press enter. Now navigate to C:\Temp\WMIDiag and double click on WMIDiag.vbs. Let it run (it will take about five minutes), and finally zip up and upload all three "WMIDIAG-V2.1-" logfiles from C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Local\temp which opens for my examination.

Thank you very much.

Richard
