cd\ brings to the system root (i.e., to c: if you are currently in c:)
cd.. brings to parent directory
cd child-directory brings to the child directory you enter
cd full-path brings to the full path you enter (but this doesn't change the drive; i.e. if you run this command in c: and you entered the full path of d:, you'll remain on c:, but if you change drive you'll be on the correct path)
cd /d full-path brings to the full path you enter and change the drive (i.e. if you run this command in c: and you entered the full path of d:, you'll be directed to d:\your-path)
