The importance of maintaining updated software to help avoid computer infections has long been stressed. However, it is often difficult to find out when updates have been released or if your computer has the latest version. Calendar of Updates (CoU) started in October 2003 to help people track software updates.

Mission Statement: "The Calendar of Updates security portal is dedicated to tracking the latest developments for protective updates as well as evolving threats.
We are dedicated to providing timely and quality information to our user community through a volunteer network of highly experienced IT professionals."
