Hello!
My computer keeps BSODing randomly, when playing games mainly. Also many games keep crashing to desktop,so i guess it has to do with the graphics card.

These are my specs

· OS -Windows 7 Enterprise
· x64
· What was original installed OS on system? Windows 7
· Full retail version
· Age of system 3 and a half years old
· Age of OS installation - 4 months

· CPU
QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 955, 3200 MHz (16 x 200) · Video Card
· MotherBoard
Asus M4A78T-E
·
Power Supply - SilverStone ST75EF 750W

Thanks in advance

Please check Windows Update to ensure that you have all available updates.

Only 16 gB free on your C: drive - you need 90 gb free for acceptable performance (15%).
Please free up 90 gB of free space.

Free Agent drive only has 10% free space. You can probably get away with this for now, but it is impacting the performance of your system.

Asus M4 series motherboards may have issues using the Auto setting for memory in the BIOS. Get the settings/timings/voltages recommended by your RAM manufacturer and set those settings in the BIOS (in other words, DON'T USE the Auto setting).

The most likely cause (IMO) is the AMD Overdrive program:
AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems.
Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from http://ati.amd.com (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/sh...ideo-cards-DRIVER-ONLY-installation-procedure

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install". Reboot for changes to take affect.
Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

Update your networking drivers and the Asus utilities on your system - they date from 2009.

It seems that you have Furmark, OCCT, and MBAM on your system. Please let us know the results of the testing that you have done.
If removing the AMD Overdrive doesn't fix things, please post back for further suggestions.

Thanks for the quick response!

Well I followed every step, except messing with the settings/timings/voltages of the Rams, which I couldn't find the recommended settings. Also,I have all the latest drivers and utilities from the motherboards site, but I think they are outdated.
Malwarebytes Anti-malware,showed zero infections and also here's the result from furmark furmark.jpg

Still no problems for the time being.

If you've removed the AMD Overdrive - then it's best for us just to wait and see if the BSOD's return.

Good luck!

Hello again, everything worked fine the last couple of days,no problems whatsoever, but today again games kept crashing, and my pc once again BSODed.I got this message from a Blue screen analysis:This was probably caused by the following module: dxgmms1.sys (dxgmms1+0x31CA9).

The error is most likely video related - so please try the troubleshooting steps here (even though you're not getting that particular error): https://www.sysnative.com/forums/sh...eout-0x116-0x117?p=29532&viewfull=1#post29532

Make sure that the video card is clear of dirt and dust and that the fan (if so equipped) is running smoothly. I've seen fans work OK and then lockup at random intervals, so keep an eye on it when problems occur.

Finally, I've seen a lot of the Razer drivers in dump files recently. Please uninstall the Razer stuff and use a non-Razer mouse and keyboard temporarily. Run it long enough to figure out if it's stopped the BSOD's or not - then feel free to reinstall the Razer devices.

If all that doesn't stop the BSOD's, then we'll have you run Driver Verifier.

I use a Razor mouse, but not a Razor keyboard, and I've noticed there is a driver for a razor keyboard.Well I'll follow the steps then and see if the problem continues.
