Here are my specs again: Windows 7 SP1 x64 Original OS = Win 7 OEM version of OS Age of system = 1 year (ibuypower) Age of OS installation = <1 month (reinstalled after BSOD issue, storport.sys - also replaced HDD approx 5 months ago) AMD FX 8120 @ 3.10GHZ AMD Raedon HD6800 Coonix 600W power supply Gigabyte-M68MT-S2 Mobo Once again, any direction would be most appreciated. First off, I am not a BSOD analyst by any means so all my response is based off of my knowledge in hardware and the information found by others. The first thing I would do is run a harddrive diagnostic. We have a tutorial outlining the process here: Hard Drive Diagnostic ProcedureI suspect your new HDD may be the root of the problem but, I would wait for a more experienced opinion :lolg: FWIW, it appears writhziden came to a similar conclusion: writhziden said: Not a problem. Monitor the system closely and keep important files backed up on a regular basis at least for the next month or two. Hopefully problems will not return, but the problems you have had may indicate a failing hard drive, so it is best to proceed with caution regarding the data on the system. Click to expand...
