Hi, recently whilst my PC is under load I've been getting BSOD, but it's not every time mainly happens with some demanding games. Not exactly sure what could be causing it but I've attached my logs.

· OS - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 or Vista? - Win10
·
x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? - x64
·
What was the original installed OS on the system? Win10
·
Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? Full retail
·
Approximate age of system (hardware) - 4 Years
·
Approximate age of OS installation (if you know) 4 Years
·
Have you re-installed the OS? Not yet
·
CPU - Intel i7 8700K
·
Video Card - Nvidia GTX 1080Ti
·
MotherBoard (if NOT a laptop) - ASUSROG Maximus X Hero
·
Power Supply - brand & wattage (if NOT a laptop) - Corsair RM 850x
·
System Manufacturer
· Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom)
Laptop or Desktop?

Appreciate any help on resolving this one, thanks!

Hi sorry for the delay.

with 4) I downloaded the software/drivers from there site, I'm not sure why it's not "digitally signed". I suppose I should download/install again?

I've noticed more that it's only happening with a certain game (NFS: Heat) and wondering if that is conflicting with drivers or something on my PC.

I'll continue to use my PC and look into updating my BIOS and look into I will look into the Reliability Monitor.

Edit: 5) I ran steps #2 to #5 and have attached the file, thank you!

Thanks!

1) Please post results for each step:
scannow, restorehealth, SFCFix

2) Reset the hosts file:

How to reset the Hosts file back to the default

a) Logon with administrator

b) open notepad

c) copy and paste:

Code:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handle within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
#       ::1             localhost

d) Click file > save as > "hosts" > to the desktop
(use " " so it displays "hosts")

e) Close notepad

f) Open file explorer > C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc > identify hosts > right click hosts then click rename > enter hosts.old

g) Drag and drop or copy and paste the "hosts" file on the desktop to the already opened C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder

Hi

1) When I ran the first time the only error I got was 1 error for RestoreHealth which said it fixed itself. I've just ran the tests again 2-5 and have no errors showing

2) i've reset > created a new hosts file, thank you. For some reason I didn't have a file

3) Sorry not sure what more PSU information you'd like me to give could you let me know? I have a Corsair RM 850x

Also I wanted to ask, before I upgrade my BIOS. I have TPM enabled + BitLocker. Am I okay to just "suspend" bitlocker on my main C drive? I also have other drives that have BitLocker enabled but they only have a decrypt option and I can't "suspend" them. Will I also need to disable TPM before I upgrade?

Thanks very much!
