Hey everyone. Popping into old sites because I'm doing a complete password security overhaul and changing every site I've ever had a compromised saved password with Chrome on (which is 72 sites apparently).

Figured I'd stop by and see how Sysnative is doing! John, Corrine, and all the rest of you I hope are all doing well. Looks like this place is still growing!

Hi, Cayden. Yes, Sysnative is still here and still growing. Wise move to change passwords and, of course, to have a different password for each site.

Indeed, my usual three passwords are good enough as they're already secure but for sites like these it's best to have them all be unique. One thing that I have found super useful over the years are login alerts which has saved my bacon several times now, usually, it's accounts from old games that I don't really play anymore but still, rather not have my credentials used for some nefarious purpose.

Looks like this new-ish XenForo technology is the new mainstay forum software, I've seen it already in so many forums lately, including the new TSF, and I'm curious as to why since it feels like it all happened this year, unless it's just another case of Baader-Meinhoff.

Also, wherever there is offered 2-factor authentication, jump on it. It's yet another layer of security. Back 9 or so years ago my Steam account got hacked several times and more than zero is a lot in my opinion. As soon as I added 2 FA, it stopped and hasn't happened again.

Mostly because vBulletin became outdated. Also, many sites have the same ownership as large firms buy them up.
