These updates address vulnerabilities that could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.I If you are still using Adobe Reader, it is advised that the update be applied ASAP. Additional details about the update are available in my blog post here. Update checks can be manually activated by choosing Help > Check for Updates. Adobe Reader XI (11.0.06) for Windows is available here: Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows. Note: UNcheck any pre-checked additional options presented with the update. They are not part of the software update and are completely optional. Additionally note that Adobe Air has been updated to version 4.0 and is available here.
