Adobe FlashPlayer Critical Security Update

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.170 and earlier versions for Windows and Macintosh and Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.332 and earlier versions for Linux.

These updates address vulnerabilities that could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system. Numerous bug fixes are also included in the update.

Flash Player: Direct downloads (no unwanted extras) for Windows 7 and earlier:

Internet Explorer - http://download.macromedia.com/get/...sing/win/install_flash_player_12_active_x.exe
Plugin-based browsers (Firefox etc) - http://download.macromedia.com/get/...ensing/win/install_flash_player_12_plugin.exe

Windows 8 and 8.1: Flash Player for Internet Explorer 10 and 11: Microsoft updated Microsoft Security Advisory (2755801). The update for Windows RT and Windows RT 8.1 is available via Windows Update.
