Adobe has released Version 27.0.0.170 of Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Chrome and Linux.

The critical update addresses a report that an exploit for CVE-2017-11292 exists in the wild, and is being used in limited, targeted attacks against users running Windows.

Update:
*Important Note: Downloading the update from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center link includes a pre-checked option to install unnecessary extras, such as McAfee Scan Plus or Google Drive. If you use the download center, uncheck any unnecessary extras that you do not want. They are not needed for the Flash Player update.

"Out-of-band"? lol

Sorry, but with the constant stream of new vulnerabilities and subsequent patches regularly being discovered and released for their products, "out-of-band" seems like an ironic misnomer.

Another Flash Player update has been released, although the update does not include any security fixes. Rather, it is to correct an important functional fix impacting Flex content. If impacted, it is recommend the update be installed. For those who have the option to 'Allow Adobe to install updates', the update will be automatic. Otherwise, use the links in the initial post in this thread. The released Version is 27.0.0.183 of Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, Chrome and Linux.
