The only reason for the differences is that I don't feel that I can post all the info when posting at Microsoft Answers.
So I only post the older drivers from the 88 and then the BSOD Bugcheck Summary from the 98 (and I have a lot of trimming to do with the 88 output).
Plus, there's only BOLD and UNDERLINE for text formatting - so it gets a bit confusing with too much info.
Later on I'll make some suggestions about the template. It's (IMO) probably the greatest feature of the output files.
Thanks again for all of your hard work! It's making things so much easier and faster!
Part of the reason I created the option to save .zdn files is so people who work on multiple forums can setup their files for each forum and then save the appropriate .zdn file for those forums. Taking your case as an example: The hope is that you can create settings you like for here, Windows7Forums, etc. and save those under say a
vBulletin.zdn file. Then, you can change the template and options to suit your needs at Microsoft Answers and save that as a
MicrosoftAnswers.zdn file. I realize the initial setup for this may take some time, but the ability to save and load all settings provides much more flexibility for those working in multiple forums where formatting changes.
I'm not sure how useful the above is to you. There are probably still some formatting changes that need to be made to the template to make it work when vBulletin code does not work. One option is to turn on the BBCode and use the HTML viewers to copy and paste directly into Microsoft Answers with the BBCode intact for bold and underline. I'm not entirely familiar with your posts at Microsoft Answers, but I can take a look by doing a Google search and see what I can come up with to suit your style there. We can also put our heads together a bit later so the apps can work well in more arenas.
I realize there's no rush to doing all this, so it'll get done as time permits, but I wanted you to know I'm thinking about it. I know from others I've PM'd with that you're not the only one using the apps in places outside vBulletin. I'm hoping over the next few months to come up with apps that work well in all forums.
