Today in the Building Windows 8 Blog, Steven Sinofsky expressed concerns that Windows 8 may boot too fast.
In the article he discusses why that could potentially be a bad thing (no time to evoke BIOS utility, no time to evoke safe mode, etc.,).
And some of the things they are building into the operating system to work around that pesky problem.

I am all for speed :grin1:

on a clean installation my computer boots in under 10 seconds :grin1:

more like 15 now with all the extra goodies.
