Win8.1 Hibernate Shuts down instead

Hi All, I have started to encounter this problem since yesterday. Every time I click 'Hibernate' from the Win+X menu, the OS shuts down instead. I have attached a part of the administrative event log. Please inform me if anything else is needed. No minidump files were generated. Please help...
