Thanks Patrick. Sorry this post must have somehow slipped through the cracks but I get it. When I Defragged I noticed that it was scheduled to run at 1:30 am and my laptop is never on at that time. I wonder if defrag activates when the computer is on but not busy. Cheers, Bob.
