Failing hard drive?

This is a secondary drive. Also I have bought a new hdd already. Now my inquiry is: How do I fix this old one. It worked after removing it from the laptop and placing it again but now I want to format it in such a way that only the good sectors are seen and able to perform as usual.

Ok, here's an update !! Using DISKPART in cmd after my drive disappeared after a restart, i got the below message: Now what? It's dead, isn't it? :sad:

It's failing...hard. One question: Are WD hdds reliable and good and such? I'm going to order me a new one.

It failed the test so badly it must be a new record :huh: One of my friends told me that there is something to format it or test it in some way so that the bad sectors will be overlooked and what can work properly, will work. Let's see who else has a reply for this. Maybe if I hadn't gotten...

Hello, Does this below mean that my hard-drive is failing? I'm already getting errors in BitTorrent regarding I/O issues - Read Error.

Hi Brian, It actually worked, I got a reply on Quora about an offline update downloader which worked like a charm. Also, from those 4 updates, only one worked downloading and installing manually and it was not the one you gave me. I'll also attach the cbs.log file if you can find something...

[SOLVED] Windows Update 800B0100

Hello, Since the 7th I'm having an issue with the Windows Update, it throws Code Error 800B0100 for 4 updates - below image & error message. I have installed 2 anti-viruses, Avast & BitDefender, but not at the same time, installed first avast, unistalled, restarted, installed bitdefender...
