That's what happens when you are trying to multi task while on the run out the door. After disabling WU's as your requested in Post 20, I clicked on the KB3173424 file and it found that update to be installed already. I then downloaded KB3172614 and it installed just fine and asked for a reboot, which I did. After Windows did a little configuring and I navigated to the desktop, I went into the Control Panel to enable WU's and I no sooner got back to the WU UI that it began checking for updates. Several were found and are ready to be installed. I'll do just that and once no more are found I will come back to provide you with an update on how things went. Thank you for you patience and all the help you gave.

Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update > Change settings > "Never check for updates" You likely want to set it back so it checks for updates automatically.

USA Feb 1, 2017 #29 I made sure to turn WU's back on and as soon I did, I went back to the main WU window, it began checking for updates before I could even click on the Check for updates button. Several were found, downloaded and installed without any errors at all. Thanks again Brian, I appreciate your help. :)
