Ever since then, when I've opened Windows Update, it has greeted me with the cheerful news that Win10 didn't install, and not actually found any WU things to install. On the occasions when I've used WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab I have occasionally made it through to see what updates there are to install, but they stay on 0% downloaded and installed. Bear in mind that this has been this way now for months, and I've tried pretty much everything I've found to try and sort it... Any thoughts? CBS and SFCFix logs uploaded as required :) All the best, David

Click your start button and type cmd in the search box. 2. Right-click on cmd that comes up in the search results and select Run as administrator. Answer Yes to the UAC prompt if it appears. 3. Copy/Paste the following into the command-prompt window and hit enter. reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /s >1.txt && notepad 1.txt 4. Notepad will open showing the WU info. Can you copy and paste this into your next reply?

No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download. Download the file below, SFCScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop. Save any open documents and close all open windows. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCScript.txt.
