The cpu stays at 100% until I STOP the windows update in the sevices.msc then i can operate my computer is there another way to fix this issue?

Step#1 - Gather Info 1. Download SFCFix.exe and save this to your Desktop. 2. Save any open documents and close all open windows. 3. Double click on SFCFix.exe to open it. 4. Follow all on screen instructions and upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop named SFCFix.txt. 5. Please post the contents of this log in your next post. Thank you.

If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop. If you still have this on your desktop from downloading previously, you don't need to re-download. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it. Save any open documents and close all open windows. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. SFCFix will now process the script. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt. R rosetta Well-known member Joined Oct 25, 2015 Posts 217 Mar 26, 2016 #6 I ran the sfc /scannow with no integrity shown the scan denied me access to the report , so i when to notepad c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log for the report and it still reveals that the files are corrupt. so here is the zip cbs report.
