I don't see any major problems. You should probably check your hardware websites for compatible drivers. I note my 9 year old Toshiba notebook only has W8.1 drivers available. But W10 installed on it with those drivers no problem.
For sure, as with any major upgrade, you should make sure you have backups of any files you don't want to lose before starting this. While Microsoft has done a really good job of supporting a lot of legacy hardware, it really is up to the hardware maker to ensure compatibility. Sadly, they have little (no actually) incentive to do so since there is no money in it for them. They would much rather you buy new hardware designed for the latest operating systems.
