(I'm just trying to help my old *** uncle get windows 10 lol) https://www.dropbox.com/s/41vowg8ve6bwclc/cbs.txt?dl=0 Honestly, if you can't fix it, It's alright. He called Microsoft plenty of times and they won't even help him.

I am trying to determine what "it" is. Did you download the ISO and are trying to install "it" from an ISO image? Or did Windows Update finally offer W10 and now you are just following the prompts to perform the Upgrade? Or is "it" Window Update that you are trying to run following my question above about what happens when you run Windows Update, and Windows Update is failing? Have you rebooted and tried again? That may seem obvious but I had the W10 update and Windows Update fail a couple times until I rebooted, ran Windows Update again, and then was offered W10 again and it went well. I see several other examples of that error code but can find only one other case where it happened during the upgrade to W10 - maybe. I say maybe because it is here and the user never replied but also his subject says he was upgrading to W10 but in his text he says Windows 8. ??? Either way, we don't know what happened there.

Problems like this are like an omen to me - of things to possibly come in the future. The upgrade to Windows 10 should have been seamless.
