I try to download it and it gives me a error code C0000374. I looked up a guide on here before, some mod helped a guy get my Cbs.txt so I already have that ready. if anyone, could help me soon that would be awesome thanks!.

How are you trying to download W10? Have you been prompted by Windows Update to begin the upgrade process?

What happens if you run Windows Update?

When I go to run it it'll download then stop and give me an error code C0000374, I did the scan, and read on the fourms about getting the cbs.txt and posting it and maybe someone could fix my problem, but that might not be the case.

When I go to run it

I am trying to determine what "it" is. Did you download the ISO and are trying to install "it" from an ISO image? Or did Windows Update finally offer W10 and now you are just following the prompts to perform the Upgrade? Or is "it" Window Update that you are trying to run following my question above about what happens when you run Windows Update, and Windows Update is failing?

Have you rebooted and tried again? That may seem obvious but I had the W10 update and Windows Update fail a couple times until I rebooted, ran Windows Update again, and then was offered W10 again and it went well.

I see several other examples of that error code but can find only one other case where it happened during the upgrade to W10 - maybe.

I say maybe because it is here and the user never replied but also his subject says he was upgrading to W10 but in his text he says Windows 8. ???

Either way, we don't know what happened there.

Just for info, not that it helps us very much at all, but NT status code (a/k/a exception error code) 0xc0000374 -

Code:
0xC0000374
STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION

A heap has been corrupted.

Yea, he bought a computer, and windows offered the free 10 upgrade, I upgrade it but I get a error code, this is the 4th time trying, the 2nd try I rebooted and still didn't work. ):

If this is occurring on a new computer, have you thought about returning it & getting another?

Problems like this are like an omen to me - of things to possibly come in the future.

The upgrade to Windows 10 should have been seamless.

I agree with jcgriff2 - take it back! No need for these hassles with a brand new computer.
