hi, it worked , I did it from Admin after turning off some background Adobe processes and Epson processes. Then I went back to Windows Update and it wanted to install another update, which I did, now is asking about a 3rd, I thought I would check with you first.
This is a desktop, always plugged in. But I usually haven't paid attention to what was running while Windows Update installed in the background. Adobe and Epson both have kind of intrusive always-on unless explicitly turned off software.
Question, I had turned off Getting Updates for Other Microsoft products-- can I turn that back on now?
