Users who live in the Seattle area may find it interesting and probably quite useful that they can now purchase Wi-Fi with the Microsoft Wi-Fi app available on the Windows Store. This new app just became available on build 10166 of the Windows Insider Preview which we just talked about earlier.

Here’s how it works. When you’re in a location where Microsoft Wi-Fi is available, you’ll see an option from the networks list “Buy Wi-Fi from Windows Store”. If you don’t yet have the Microsoft Wi-Fi app you can quickly install it. If you do, users can securely use the Windows Store system to purchase any amount of Wi-Fi needed by 30 minutes, a day, etc., via credit card, PayPal, Microsoft gift cards, or carrier billing (if supported). There is no need to enter any additional information.
