Hi all. I use my desktop for audio recording and experiencing latency issues (pops, clicks, dropouts, high CPU use).
I have done all the usual things: updated Windows, updated all drivers, clean install on freshly formatted SDD. Completed power profile for high performance. I have no USB devices besides audio card installed...have disabled all except the USB3.1, to lower latency. I have ethernet disabled (usually have no internet, just connected for this post). Mobo bios updated. Etc I am hoping you can give me some help?

The biggest issue seems to be storport, and as I have updated the IDE/ATA Atapi driver to the latest AMD SATA, I am at a loss.
also wondering why the mouse and keyboard on the PS/2 port should be coming into play (i8042prt.sys)
Thanks for any help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Try to:
- download new audient id14 drivers
(3.2.2 beta: audientusbaudiodriver_driversetup_v3_2_2b2.exe "Early release for people experiencing issues on Windows with Pro Tools 12")
- start windows in safe mode
- remove old audient drivers
(if it is possible: it seems it could be necessary to change a value in the windows registry to use the uninstallation tool. In this case, try first in normal mode)
- install the new drivers
- restart in normal mode
