WU/SFC/Driver problem

I'm having the following problems:
Windows Update won't work
sfc /scannow is failing
dism /RestoreHealth is failing
System Refresh is failing (I'm guessing this is the same thing as restorehealth?)
Driver installs are failing (Flash drives, OpenVPN, Kindle ADB Drivers)

I'm guessing it's all the same corruption problems

Ok, might be making some progress. I restored a 36MB COMPONENTS hive from a system image May 19th (the latest one where it wasn't 256KB). Now sfc /scannow runs and I think I managed to fix a couple corruptions using that and SFCFix. Driver installs and Windows Update still aren't working, though
