Hi there.
I have Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3324 with all the latest updates installed and latest drivers installed. Recently when I turn on my laptop wsappx, Service Host: Windows Update and Microsoft Software Protection Platform Service occupy CPU highly.
I have done anything possible. I have reinstalled my Drivers, Updated Windows, Scanned windows using SFC /SCANNOW and DISM with CheckHealth, RestoreHealth and ScanHealth options.
I have also done what these websites and a couple of other websites have instructed:
Why Is My Wsappx Have High CPU Usage? Here’s How To Fix It
Why Wsappx Causes High CPU Usage and How To Fix It
when I disable my Network Card and then re-enable it the problem gets fixed. And Also the problem is resolved when I disable Microsoft Store Install Service in windows.
Some websites mentioned that the problem may be because of Microsoft Store problem and it should be disabled from Local Group Policy. I have configured Local Group Policy correctly to disabled Microsoft Store but the policy does not work!
I have also run Windows troubleshooter for Windows Update and Microsoft Store but no problem was detected.
I think there might be a problem with Microsoft Store because when I disable Microsoft Store Install Service the problem gets solved.
I would appreciate any answer in advance if you help me identify the root of my problem.
