Hi!
I have a windows 2016 virtual server with a problem similar to the one described threads with same titles.

Code:
c:\Windows\System32>%WINDIR%\SysNative\dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Deployment Image Maintenance and Management Tool

Version: 10.0.14393.4169

Image version: 10.0.14393.4169

[==========================100.0%===================== = =====]

Error: 1734

The array bounds are invalid.

The DISM log file is located in C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

So I am requesting help from the forum to resolve this issue and attach the CBS logs as instructed.

Other problems are also present on the server, for example the mssettings part which crashes if you open Windows Update.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the C:\Windows\Logs folder.
Right-click the CBS folder and choose Send To > Compressed (Zipped) Folder.
The message will then appear: "Windows cannot create the compressed (zipped) folder here. Do you want it to be placed on the desktop instead?"
Click the Yes button here. A file called CBS.zip will be created on your desktop

  • SFCFix will launch, let it complete.
  • Once done, a file will appear on your desktop, called SFCFix.txt.
  • Post the logfile (SFCFix.txt) as attachment in your next reply.

Step 2. Run the following DISM command and post the result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS log.
Code:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Hi,

Please run the System File Checker and post the translated result. If it fails attach a new copy of the CBS logs.
Code:
SFC /Scannow

Please translate the screenshot, however it seems there are no issues found? Is that right.

Yeah sorry, no issues (approximated translation)

Code:
Start system analysis. This may take some time.
Start system analysis verification phase.
100% verification is complete.
The Windows Resource Protection program has found no integrity violations.

Download the

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop:

Download the 64 bit version: - Farbar Recovery Scan Tool Link

  • Note: Your antivirus program may report FRST incorrectly as an infection. If so, disable the real-time protection when downloading and running FRST.
  • Rename FRST64.exe to English.exe.
  • Right-click on English.exe and select "Run as administrator". When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Note: Ensure that the Addition.txt check box is checked at the bottom of the form within the Optional Scan area.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • Please wait for the tool to finish. It will produce two logfiles called FRST.txt and Addition.txt in the same directory the tool is run from (which should be the desktop)
  • Post the logfiles FRST.txt and Addition.txt as attachment in your next reply.

Hi,

Do you have the same issue when you use the built-in Administrator account?

Hi,

Open an elevated command prompt, run the following command and attach Services.txt to your next post.
Code:
WMIC SERVICE GET caption, name, startmode, state > "%userprofile%\desktop\services.txt"

Open an elevated command prompt, run the following commads and post the result.
Code:
sc config UsoSvc start= demand
sc start UsoSvc
...wait a few seconds and run the following commands.
Code:
sc query UsoSvc
sc qc UsoSvc
