Hi everyone! I am still struggling with this issue.

I´ve downloaded the Checksur.log, registered files, and performed the SFCFix.exe (Please find the report below).

Your help will be greatly appreciated!

have you reran the SURT tool after you applied the sfcfix?

try doing that and copy past the CheckSUR.log file here so that one of the guys can take a look at it.

I know that at least one of the Windows Update professionals is away from his computer for the next little bit. Richard (aka niemiro) will be busy trying to pick up the slack so he may be delayed in responding. and since Stephen (Tekno Venus) already edited this thread possibly he can move it back into the windows update forum as well.

Hello,

Sorry for the extended delay - we are swamped by theads at the moment.

Is Windows Update working currently? If so, great! If not, please do the following:

Since there has been such a delay, could you please re-run SURT, perfom another SFC scan and then upload your latest CBS folder to this thread:

Export CBS folder

  1. Click the Start button :startorb: then click Computer.
  2. Double-click on the C: drive, under the Hard Disk Drives category, and then scroll down to, and double click on the Windows folder.
  3. Find and double click on the Logs folder.
  4. Right-click on the CBS folder, and select Copy.
  5. Go back to your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Paste. You should now see a copy of the CBS folder appear on your Desktop called CBS.
  6. Right-click on this new folder, and navigate through Send to, and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
  7. A new file, also called CBS (CBS.zip), but this time with a different icon, will be created.
  8. Attach this new file to your next post.

Kind regards,
Stephen
