WindowsUpdate_dt000 fails on Win7 PC; error code 80070103; no errors 'found';

HI--I'm new here. Have tried since May of 2014 to download an 'optional' update for Intel Corp Graphics called WindowsUpdate_dt000. It always fails. Ran another program (System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7, KB947821) before I found yours; it installed fine but when I tried to follow its steps, it failed to allow me to copy or paste any CBS files to send in, so I had to give up trying to use that program. Have followed your directions, and have copies of SFCFix and CBS files, but they aren't .zip files; they simply went onto my desktop in readable form. I find that running any error-checking including your program only shows that there are 'no errors'.

Is this update even important? I'm not currently using the Intel Corp Graphics but I may in future, but since the update won't install for me, I am unable to get their WDDML.1, WDDML.2, or WDDML.3; what should I do, or would it be best to simply 'hide' this optional update and forget about it?

I uploaded the SFCFix file 'as is', but the CBS file is too big to attach that way, I notice. I made it into a .zip file, so hope it uploads.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

After I sent my first post I found your information on what to do if a CBS file is too large to upload. I followed the instructions precisely but I cannot see that it ever actually uploaded. Please let me know what else I need to do; I've no idea if my .zip file version of the CBS attachment will even be of any use. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Hello Allikat and welcome to Sysnative forums :wave:

There are no indications to SFC that there is an issue. Lets take a look with another tool that is developed by MS to identify update issues.

Please follow the instructions Here to run the System Update Readiness Tool. When the SURT finishes installing, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SURT log into your next post please:
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log
