There is most likely something wrong with your hard-drive, especially with the age of your system and being a laptop. I would suggest you run some hardware diagonstics, and then report back on the results - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/4072-hard-drive-hdd-diagnostics.html

I would suggest uploading the file in a zipped folder to a file sharing site such as Dropbox or OneDrive (SkyDrive), and then posting a link to the file in your next post.
 
It seems to have failed both of the hard-drive tests, I would backing up any important files (Pictures, Videos etc.) onto a USB memory stick or some other medium. I would suggest looking for replacement hard drive as soon as possible, or getting a new laptop if it is more cost effective.
