Hi everyone, I am having an issue with my PC after trying to upgrade to Windows 10. I am not sure what really cause it. I have been trying to fix it myself by following few different suggestion on internet. However, it still does not help me.

I found a very interesting thread on this forum from StevenR at https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/17473-windows-update-keeps-asking-me-restart-over-over-again-2.html
I am having the exact same issues with him. I have followed step by step from Aura and it still does not help. However the only step that I have not tried is the the last step about SFCFix. Aura warns everyone else that the script was only meant to help StevenR PC.

I will appreciate your help
Thank you
Regards
Husni

sc stop wuauserv
Once done, run the SFCFix fix again.

HI Aura
Sorry for the delay.

Are you comfortable in playing with the Registry, or not?

Alright, open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe), and navigate to the following key:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update
Then, expand the Auto Update key, and you should see another key called RebootRequired. Delete it (right-click -> Delete). Are you able to, or does it gives you an error message?

Good :) Now restart your computer, and see if you can check for new WIndows Updates.

Hi Aura
At the moment, Computer is able to check for updates (Which is a good sign). I will later update you whether the updates will be successfully applied (and restart request is disappeared).
Bare in time :) :)

Hi Aura,
Sorry I just got back to you.
After the windows checked for updates, Windows 10 was the only thing that was discovered, I let windows to download and install it. At about 1am 24/6/2016, I restarted the PC to apply the updates and it was configuring and applying the updates. However, when I woke up in the morning (at about 5am samw day) PC was in the stage of "Failed configuring and applying updates, Reverting the changes", PC was stuck in that mode (reverting the changes) until about 5 mins ago.
This how I can log on and post this comment.

Windows Update wants me to check for updates again. Should I proceed this time?
