Windows Updates KB5023773 KB5023696 Error 0x800f0922

Hello,

I have Windows 10 Pro and have problem with updates since the february updates. One is cumulative update KB5023773 and the other one is security update KB5023696. After reboot, update installs to 98 percent and then the message appears, that the updates will be rolled back. In windows update, error 0x800f0922 is displayed. Things I already tried is manually download and install the updates, sfc, dism, resetting windows update components, run update-troubleshooter, delete folder softwaredistribution, etc.

I have already looked at cbs.log and found out that this is the error:

Error [0x018049] CSI 00000a2a (F) Failed execution of queue item Installer: Boot File Servicing (BFSVC) Installer ({c5f0e9d7-e844-4507-89e4-701b5a747221}) with HRESULT 8031004a [Error,Facility=(0031),Code=74 (0x004a)]. Failure will not be ignored: A rollback will be initiated after all the operations in the installer queue are completed; installer is reliable[gle=0x80004005]

But I do not know, what exactly causes the problem. Please help me!

Download and run SetupDiag from Microsoft

• Download
  
  SetupDiag to your desktop.
• Right-click on SetupDiag.exe and select Run as administrator.
• When completed the following files are created: "Logs.zip, SetupDiag.exe.config and SetupDiagResults.log"
• Attach SetupDiagResults.log and Logs.zip to your next reply.

thanks that you are willing to help me.

Log from setupdiag shows only one older error from 18th February which is about Bitlocker. Nothing from the installations of the comulative updates I tried a few more times since 18th February.

I must say, that I don't use Bitlocker on any of my drives, and I also don't intend to use Bitlocker in the future. But I found out, that there is indeed a problem with Bitlocker on my system.

If I go to settings/system/info and then click on Bitlocker-Settings under related settings on the right side, after a few seconds the settings window closes automatically, without showing the Bitlocker-settings from cotrol-panel. Also is Bitlocker icon missing from control-panel. But under services the Bitlocker-service shows up and is set to automatic.

Can the non working bitlocker-settings be the problem for the failing updates?
