Windows Update Wont Install Updates Windows 8.1

Ive tried everything ive been troubleshooting for the last 2hrs and im just done so i seen a thread that i should post my componets file so that is what i have done.

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

SFC /SCANNOW

Click on the

button. Inside the search box type in CMD
Right click on CMD => Choose Run as Administrator
Inside the Command Prompt windows copy and paste the following command SFC /SCANNOW
Please wait for this to Finish before continuing with the rest of the steps.

Export CBS folder

Click the Start button

then click Computer.
Double-click on the C: drive, under the Hard Disk Drives category, and then scroll down to, and double click on the Windows folder.
Find and double click on the Logs folder.
Right-click on the CBS folder, and select Copy.
Go back to your Desktop, right-click on it, and select Paste. You should now see a copy of the CBS folder appear on your Desktop called CBS.
Right-click on this new folder, and navigate through Send to, and select Compressed (zipped) folder.
A new file, also called CBS (CBS.zip), but this time with a different icon, will be created.
Attach this to your next post please.

Already tried SFC. Cant Run SFC unless i boot to the new safe mode commandprompt thing.

Uploaded the CBS folder and reuploaded first file to my onedrive.

I assumed you would of ran SFC, but I needed the log to see what the error is

The error with COMPONENTS hive is that it can not be loaded.

Fixing these errors have not always had a good success rate, you will have to give me a few days to look over this.

I take it cant be fixed? Will i have to do a completely new install of windows?

Sorry for the delay. After having a look at the hive I was unable to find anything that stands out as to why this would not be loading.
