[SOLVED] windows update stuck at installing security upate microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1

Dear

windows update is installing the 91th update of 138 updates but is stuck on this 91th update for more then a day.

So I wanted to make some logs to post them in here,but could not stop the update, so I decided to reboot the laptop.

Problem is now that the laptop won't close, it keeps saying 'closing', and nothing else happens.

I don't know if maybe the installation of the update is still buzzy?

Can I force the laptop to close? or should I waite?

wel,it window changed to : fase 1 of 3, configuring windows update, 16% ... do not shut off pc.

I dont know if it already rebooted, as I did not stay behind the laptop.. but will wait till it finished before doing any other steps.

Sounds like it just got stuck but that you are going in the right direction.

BrianDrab, all windows update are finished, So everything ok. it's a small notebook (1GB ram) , it was very slow, so I made a bacup, then started the build in recovery.

I Think it's best I use this notebook only for surfing on internet.

So if windows update ( security upate microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 ) needed more ram and processor memory to install faster, maybe that is the reason why it took so much time.

anyway, after some updates I had some other net framework updates, I updated them one by one. Seems ok (not slow).
