Hi omgitsjoe,

Do you still need assistance with this issue?

Alright, I'll need to take a look at your CBS key to create the fix.

Exporting the CBS Registry Key
Follow the instructions below to export the CBS Key from the Registry and upload it.
  • Press on the Windows + R keys, enter regedit and press on Enter;
  • In Regedit, in the left-pane, navigate to the Registry key below and select it by clicking on it:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing
  • Once the key is selected, click on the File menu and select Export...;
  • From there Save menu, change the Save as type: to Registry Hive Files (*.*);
  • Name the file CBS (without any file extension) and save it on your Desktop;
  • Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL here;

You're right on it. It's listed as the Component Based Servicing key, but I abbreviate it to CBS. The full name is listed in my instructions.

Alright follow the instructions below please.

All good. For the next part, I'll have to download around 50 updates and source files from them so it might take a while. I'll get started on it tomorrow.
