[SOLVED] Windows Update not working properly

My computer is running Windows 10 and Windows Update is not working properly. When I go to install updates, the updates never install and I need to try again. I now have quite a backlog of updates that need to be completed but have not been completed.

I have tried several of the fixes suggested by the internet, but I will only list the ones I think are relevant here. I tried using Microsoft's Fix It program Windows Update Diagnostic, and I got the message "service registration is missing or corrupt". After trying other fixes and other Google searches, I stumbled upon one of this website's threads, https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...ee2-service-registration-corrupt-missing.html, which led me to post here.

Sorry, I would have updated my post to say I the problem was gone, but I did not see an option to edit the post.

Yes, my issue is solved. I assume one of my attempted fixes from my Google searching did the trick, but I can't remember for the life of me which one was the last I tried.

Thanks for your help anyway. I imagine you would have been able to solve my problem. This forum appears to be very helpful, and I will use it in the future if it is necessary.
