No component store corruption detected.
The operation completed successfully.
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Still at a loss.

Is there the kb number of the non-installed update?
Did you reboot to re-try its installation?

Nothing new upon reboot, no kb number, I'm thinking of saying to heck with it and doing a clean restart with my disk
