i'm going to restart pc , and launch windows update ..

will informe about in next post.

Hy , here is good new:

WindowsUpdate scanning was still taking long time so:

1) stopped wuaserv by cmd prompt as administrator
2) downloaded Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.3 (from official "microsoft download center" site )
3) installed MBSA
4) restarted wuaserv by cmd prompt as admin.
5) performed scan by MBSA checking only "for security and critical update" with the option box "configuration of prerequisites" marked.
6) scan found 8 security and critical updates available not installed.

for my pc were : KB3185911 , KB3168965 , KB3164033 , KB3145739 , KB3153731 , KB3156016 , KB3178034 , KB979688

( is easy to note the most of them are included in the same list of forum guide: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/redirect-to/?redirect=http://wu.krelay.de/en/ )

7) downloaded them from microsoft update catalog and installed one by one as "STAND ALONE UPDATEs"
8) restarted pc
9) opened control panel\accounts managing and deleted all inactive and old user account, opened C:\windows\Users\ and deleted all inactive and old accounts folder
10) launched W.Update again

In about 40 minutes it scanned (at home common adsl speed ) . Founded 39 important updates and 2 optionals..

checked and installed all 39 at once as generally w.u. works.

i reported step by step and hope it can by usefull for s.e. :thumbsup2:

MANY THANKS, for your help and time..
