[SOLVED] Windows update error 800B0100

Hi ,

I wanted to update Windows and it shows errors i couldn't install 12 updates and error is 800B0100.I searched for solution on internet but nothing solved my problem.Here is the list of failed updates if it helps.

Windows Update Package Replacement

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Please download the attached file, Packs.zip and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the file and select Extract All...
  3. Tick the box labelled Show extracted files when complete then click Extract
  4. A window will open showing a folder, Packages
  5. Open the Packages folder and copy the files into the following folder

    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

  6. Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
  7. When the SURT finishes installing, copy (Ctrl + C) and paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SURT log into your next post please:

    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Excellent.

Let's check with SFC.

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
    button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

    Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt

  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.
    If CBS.txt is too large to attach, right click on it and choose Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder and upload the zip instead.
 
Looks good. Reboot and check for updates, then pick one to install.
If the update fails, include with your reply the KB#, error code, and C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
If CBS.log is too large to attach, copy it to your Desktop then right click on it and choose Send To -> Compressed (zipped) Folder and attach the zip instead.
 
First I tried to install KB3011780 and it failed , error 8024200D

Then i tried to install KB2984972 and it was successful and then i tried to install the rest and all 10 was successful.
But problem was that update KB3011780 got removed from windows update so i could't try to install it again , so i downloaded it manually from Windows Update Catalog and it was successful.


All updates are installed now , thank you for your help.
