I have had this issue for a while, but I've not been able to sort it.
When I try to update to Service Pack 1 for windows 7 Home Premium x64 I constantly get error 800B0100.
I have tried running the Windows Update readiness tool and Windows automatic troubleshooter linked in the Microsoft support article pertaining to this error, but with no results.
I'm running Microsoft Security Essentials and have tried the update with it turned on and also with it disabled.

I've noticed that you've been able to help out a few people with this issue - think they've submitted a checksur log...how do I do this?

thanks

Hello matanhale and welcome to the forums :)

To get a copy and of the SURT logs (Checksur.log) please go to the following location:

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.persist.log

Can you please Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.
