I tried using the System readiness tool but it says in the log that repair files are unavailable. It says it found 12 errors. This all started after a blue screen during updates due to a faulty piece of hardware. Hardware is fixed but now I have this problem. SFC won't fix the problem either, saying that it couldn't fix some files. I also don't currently have antivirus installed as I removed it trying to troubleshoot it myself. This windows installation is running from a solid state disk. It might be possible I have other problems as I don't know how to read the attached SFC log. I saw remote desktop client in there a lot. I do actually use that program. I tried windows update troubleshooting as well with no luck. Results for that: Screenshot by Lightshot

I will attach the logs here: View attachment CBS.log View attachment CheckSUR.log

Update errors from screenshot here: Screenshot by Lightshot

Update 1: 800B0100
Update 2: 800B0100
Update 3: 8024200D
Update 4: 800B0100
Update 5: 800B0100

If you need more info let me know.

In total there are 5 updates that wont work. They all seem to be RDC related.

Thanks!!!

I replaced most of the files by extracting the MSU for that update and giving them to SURT but I can't find the ones it's still missing as they aren't in the KBXXXXXXX msu
the top update seems to be a printing fix.

thanks for any help you give!!

Well never mind guys I was able to find the missing package on another windows 7 sp1 x64 pc, i gave it to surt and it patched fine. then i ran the standalone update and boom it worked. after that i ran the standalone update for the printer fix and that one worked too. then i checked for updates and it said there were none :thumbsup2: problem solved. no errors on sfc and none on Surt. none on sfc fix either.

i thank this community for the vast knowledge i was able to comb over and helped me to find things out for my self. shout out to the author of KB_Extractor it really helped.
