[SOLVED] Windows Update Error 80073712

So, I tried using SFCFix and it fixed over 10k files, but there's still over 2k corrupt files left any ideas how to fix them too?

Hello and welcome

Can you please post the latest SFCFix.txt? If it fixed over 10,000 issues there might be a big problem here.

SFCFix Collect COMPONENTS
 1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
 2. Download SFCFixScript.txt, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFixScript.txt - do not rename it.
 3. On your Desktop, you should now see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFixScript.txt.
 4. Drag the file SFCFixScript.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
 5. SFCFix will now begin to upload your CBS logfiles to our server.
 6. Upon completion, a log should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
 7. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

If all goes well, you should see that your logfiles have now been added to your thread.

So, the first time I did it it had some errors, but then the second one was successful

But when I run SFCFix it still shows 2121 errors

So I got a different error - 80070490 and I googled it and it seems like the CBS file is messed up, is there any way to fix the CBS file without system recovery?

So, I deleted some old files and now it shows that there are -4 corrupted files what do I do? ._.

Old programs and old windows updates that were installed before my reinstallation of windows, but I still can't install windows updates.

And I kinda messed up so there's -4 corrupted files again...

And I get 800703F1 Error too.

Sorry to have to give you bad advice. But there are to many corruptions here to try and repair. This system is pretty damaged.

Your best bet would be to back up all your important and do a repair install or a complete fresh install of windows.
