Hi,
I am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate (fully updated).
I received the Windows Update Error #80073701 on Automatic KB4343900 Install Attempt.
Upon researching the issue, I found a solution online whereby the "WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution" folder is renamed to "SoftwareDistributionOLD", and another update attempted. So I did that, but then received a different error. So I undid the renaming of the folder, which orphaned a few folders in the "SoftwareDistributionOLD" folder, which I had to manually copy back into the "SoftwareDistribution" folder. This is where things got dicey, as I don't think all of the files were properly swapped between the folders (just a hunch).
Anyways, I followed your instructions and here I am. Please find the log(s) your instructions have requested below:
